The Headstand Project

So here is the plan... I'm going to put this 40 year old gymnastics habit to good use. Each and every day, for the next year (365 days) I will be posting and chronicling a daily headstand pic, taken in obscure locations and atop random objects to include rooftops, monuments, automobiles, poker tables, landmarks, major intersections and pub stools (one of my all time favorites).

This project will culminate with a self created music video that will be posted on Youtube, entitled "The Headstand Project" This project is designed to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Each of us has been or will be affected in some way by this terrible disease. Any contributions that I can generate will aide in taking a small step in the right direction towards fighting this disease. Every penny will be greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference, one headstand at a time.

My hope is that my viewers will enjoy the daily headstand picture postings, make a small donation to the charity along the way and tell others about the project by sharing the blog link with as many people as possible. A simple broadcast email to your address book contacts or Facebook friends will get the ball rolling and together, we can all do something to help others.

Your thoughts, request and ideas for locations are highly encouraged. I like a bit of danger so the more challenging the better. Keep in mind that I am approaching the ripe old age of 54 and no guy or girl with any sense should be doing these kinds of stunts but every attempt will be made to accommodate your requests.

Advertisers are encouraged to purchase space on my site. We are expecting a large volume of traffic throughout the next year, ensuring high visibility and great return on your advertising dollars. This should be a lot of fun and I look forward to the next year. 100% of all revenue and advertising fees will go directly to the American Cancer Society.
